U-M Issues Crime Alert After Alleged Diag Sex Assault

ANN ARBOR (CBS Detroit) A young woman reported that she was walking near the Diag on the University of Michigan campus when she was assaulted by a stranger at 1 p.m. Monday.

This is how campus police described it: "As a student was walking along the Diag, she was approached by an unknown man who forcibly put his face in her chest. She pushed him away and continued walking."

The man is described as black, 50 to 60 years old, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, and hunching. He was wearing a dark green, long-sleeve shirt and dark pants and carrying a red sling-type bag.
