Truck Crashes Into Jewelry Store Along Michigan Avenue
WAYNE (WWJ) - Police are investigating after a truck crashed into a strip mall jewelry store in Wayne.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at Leo's Jewelry and Gifts on Michigan Avenue near Wayne Road.
Police say a pickup truck crashed through the back entrance of the store, shattering glass and smashing into display cases.
At this point, police have not indicated if the suspect made off with anything.

The store was closed at the time; no one was injured.
An investigation is ongoing.
