Troy Homeowner Holds Suspected Burglar At Bay For Police

TROY (WWJ) - A Troy homeowner foils a suspected would-be burglar. The incident happened at a home on Crooks Road north of Square Lake Road last week.

Police say the man who lives in the home got a call from his alarm company. When he arrived at his house, he spotted a man in his bedroom.

That's when the homeowner went for his rifle and held the suspect in his living room until police arrived.

The suspect, a 44-year old St. Clair Shores man, is now facing charges.
