Triple Shooting On Detroit's West Side Leaves 1 Man In Critical Condition

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are investigating a triple shooting on the city's west side that took place on Saturday afternoon.

A police spokesperson told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the shooting happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Prevost Street, in the area of Greenfield and Puritan.

Three men -- two 26-year-olds and a 27-year-old -- were shot. The 27-year-old is in critical condition. Police say the men were standing outside when a black Dodge Charger pulled up and someone got out and opened fire.

The shooter was seen getting back into the rear passenger side of the car before it drove away.

A partial description was given of the suspect, who is said to be a black male in his 20s with a slim build and braided hair, wearing a red shirt.
