DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - Trader Joe's is voluntarily recalling a refrigerated pasta product after allergic reactions were reported by customers.

The Monrovia, California-based company says Trader Giotto's Butternut Squash Triangoli may contain  tree nuts which are not listed on the label.

Trader Joe's says while tree nuts "are not an intended ingredient" some people who ate this product and are allergic to tree nuts said they had an allergic reaction.

The company says those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to tree nuts "run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products."

The only product included in the recall is Trader Giotto's Butternut Squash Triangoli (UPC 00943482/SKU 94348) — sold in the refrigerated deli section of Trader Joe's stores nationwide — with "Use or Freeze by" codes 04 16 15 through 01 15 16.

The product, which is a triangle-shaped stuffed pasta, similar to a ravoli, is  packaged in an 8.8 oz. package with code information printed on the upper-right corner of the front of the package

Customers who bought this triangoli can return it to Trader Joe's for a full refund. Those with questions can call Trader Joe's customer relations at 626-599-3817, 6 a.m. to 6 PST, Monday through Friday.
