When the Detroit Tigers released Joba Chamberlain in the beginning of July, I'm sure you, like me, thought his days in professional baseball were done.
You were wrong.
The Toronto Blue Jays announced they have signed Chamberlain to a minor league deal.
The @BlueJays have signed RHP Joba Chamberlain to a minor league contract. He will report to the minor league facility in Florida.

The Blue Jays sit 4.5 games out of the AL East and 3 games behind in the Wild Card standings.
On the season, Chamberlain pitched in 30 games for the Tigers with a 4.09 ERA and a WHIP of 1.682.
