On Friday, legendary coach Tony Dungy said on a radio program that if he were to return to coaching he would choose the Detroit Lions coaching job.
Appearing on Twitter today is a picture of Tony Dungy on an airplane.
Coincidence?
Now could this tweeter just be making this up? Sure. Could Tony Dungy actually be on a plane to sunny Pasadena, Calif. to watch the National Title game tonight? Who knows, but wouldn't it be awesome if he was actually on a plane to Detroit to meet with Martin Mayhew about the Lions coaching job?
It's a story that's so great it deserves to be true.
However, Dungy could also just be visiting family since he is from Michigan.
A man can dream, right?
