Tomas Tatar Shows His Puck Handling Skills In NHL After Dark Debut Episode

"You're incredible with the puck. How did you get so good?" remarked former NHL coach Mike Murphy watching Detroit Red Wings' Tomas Tatar running drills.

"Just have fun on the ice. Played lots of street hockey when I was a kid," replied Tatar in a break during vigorous workout.

The video is the first episode of an 11-part series, GoPro created in partnership with The National Hockey League (NHL) and the NHL Players' Association (NHLPA) for the 2016 NHL season.

The series aims to, "... give hockey fans an immersive look at what happens on the ice during late night training sessions."

Each Wednesday the vignettes will be released on GoPro's YouTube channel. See Evgeni Malkin in episode two. Later episodes will feature Gabriel Landeskog, Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin, Duncan Keith, Cory Schneider, and Claude Giroux.
