Toddler, Teen Hurt In Christmas Day Shooting

SOUTHGATE (WWJ) — Three people were shot during a family gathering on Christmas Day on Sunday.

Police Chief Brett Selby told WWJ Newsradio 950 that a 16-year-old, a two-year-old and an adult were injured in the shooting at a home in Southgate. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Agnes Street near Dix-Toledo and Northline Roads.

Police did not say what led up to the shooting, but said that the suspect and victims are all related.

The individuals involved in the incident all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have a 60-year-old man in custody.
