Tires, Rims Worth $45,000 Stolen From Metro Detroit Bentley Dealership

TROY (WWJ) - Troy police are searching for whomever stole $45,000 worth of tires and rims from a luxury auto dealership.

The theft took place sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning at the Bentley of Troy on Maplelawn Drive, in the Troy Motor Mall along Maple and Crooks roads.

Police say the crooks made their way to a rear parking lot, where they removed the tires and rims from a Maserati Ghibli, Bentley Flying Spur and a Bentley Continental GT Speed. Employees alerted police to the robbery as they came to work in the morning.

At this point, police aren't sure if they are looking for a lone suspect or perhaps a group of thieves.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact police at 248-524-3477.
