Tips Sought To Find Missing Detroit Teen

DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities are looking for help from the public to track down a missing teen who was in the care of the state.

Tamara Harris, 17, was last seen by her Department of Human Services case worker on Friday, March 14, at 8:35 a.m. in the 5500 block of Conner.

Tamara is described as a black female, 5 feet 1 inch tall and around 115 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and a medium brown complexion.  She was last seen wearing black pants, a gray shirt and a black velvet jacket. She has tattoos on her chest, arm, wrist, leg and foot.

Detroit police say she's in good mental and good physical condition.
