Time's Up: No One Claims $25K-A-Year Michigan Lottery Prize

LANSING (AP) — It's too late for a winner to be lucky for life.

The Michigan Lottery says no one stepped forward by Monday's deadline to claim a prize of $25,000 a year for life in the Lucky for Life game.

The ticket was sold a year ago at a party store on Gratiot Avenue in Detroit. It's the first major lottery prize to go unclaimed in 2016.

As a result, $390,000 will go to Michigan's school aid fund.
