Tigers Sign RHP Lucas Harrell To Minor League Deal

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) -- The Detroit Tigers announced Monday that the team has signed right-handed pitcher Lucas Harrell to a minor league contract.

Harrell, 30, most recently played in the MLB with the Houston Astros in 2014. He played four seasons with the Astros, starting 59 games and totaling a 4.81 ERA.

Harrell won a career high 11 games in 2012 when he posted a 3.76 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. He played with the LG Twins in Korea in 2015 where he went 10-11 with a 4.93 ERA.

Harrell will report to the Tigers' minor league camp.
