Tigers Fans Line Up A Day Early For First Chance At Individual Tickets

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Tigers fans lined up in the cold on Friday afternoon for a chance to be among the first to see the 2015 squad in action.

With individual game tickets going on sale Saturday -- including those for Opening Day -- hundreds of Tigers fans showed up at Comerica Park to pick up a wristband and the chance to be first in line in the morning.

Officials say that there were still wristbands left as late as Friday night. A number -- from one to 1000 -- will be drawn by the ball club at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, and that person will be first in line to buy tickets, starting at 10 a.m.

The Tigers open the season one month from Friday on April 6 against the Minnesota Twins.
