Being drafted by a big league team is a huge honor. Is it as prestigious as the NFL or the NBA? Not exactly, in my opinion. There are 40 rounds in the MLB draft and I would say the majority of these guys who get drafted - will never suit up for the team who drafted them.

In the later rounds of the draft it's almost comical, the San Diego Padres drafted Johnny Manziel, like he will ever play for them.

In the 25th round the Tigers drafted a RHP from Florida State, Gage Smith. Smith, a red-shirted senior for the Seminoles has some of the best facial hair I have ever seen on a ballplayer.

His moustache is similar to the monopoly man or even the Captain Morgan's guy.

This season for Florida State, Smith went 5-2 with a 2.39 ERA in a team high 40 apperances.

You can follow Gage on Twitter @GageSmith19.
