Tigers Announce Pitchers And Catchers Will Report On Feb. 18
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) -- The Detroit Tigers announced Monday that pitchers and catchers will report to spring training in Lakeland, Florida on February 18.

Position players are scheduled to report on Feb. 22 with the first full squad workout on Feb. 23. The Tigers open their spring training schedule with a home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on March 1 at Joker Marchant Stadium.
The Tigers open the 2016 regular season on the road against the Miami Marlins on April 5. The team's home opener is April 8 against the New York Yankees.
