Thousands Gather To Create 'Longest Raft-Off Ever' On Lake St. Clair

LAKE ST. CLAIR -- It's boats for as far as the eye can see!

Thousands of boaters gathered Saturday in Lake St. Clair's Muscamoot Bay in hopes of setting a record for the longest raft-off ever. Event organizers are hoping at least 5,000 boats join together to help break the record.

The crew from 99.5 WYCD's "Redneck Yacht Club" was on hand aboard the 46-foot "Sun Ray" with Grunwald, who said there's at least two-miles of boats.

"It's insane here, I never could imagine this many people out here," he said.

The party is expected to last all day.
