Thief Climbs Into Detroit Liquor Store Through Roof [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are searching for a man who broke into a liquor store on the city's west side last week.

The burglary took place on November 30 at around 5:30 a.m. at the business on the 14500 block of Fenkell Ave.

Police say that the thief gained access to the building through the roof. He can be seen on surveillance footage climbing down racks behind the counter and emptying a garbage bag to place items inside.

The suspect can be seen escaping through the roof again by climbing up the racks. Police did not say what was taken from the business.

Police describe the suspect only as a black male.
