THE WORLD DOG AWARDS - Monday, February 23th at 8pm on CW50 - HONORING THE MOST LAUDABLE PUPS ON THE PLANET WITH HOST GEORGE LOPEZ — The inaugural The World Dog Awards will combine the glamour of a Hollywood awards show with the appreciation for man's best friend. Hosted by George Lopez, the ceremony will spotlight pups who have achieved fame in the world of entertainment and on social media, as well as everyday dogs who have made an impact on the lives of their human companions. Categories include Best in Film, Top TV Dog, Supporting Actor to a Dog and Dog of the Year. Celebrities scheduled to appear include Beth Behrs ("Two Broke Girls"), Ian Somerhalder ("The Vampire Diaries"), Mark Feuerstein ("Royal Pains"), Pauley Perrette ("NCIS") and Nikki Reed (the "Twilight" films), among many others.
