Teen Critical After Being Shot In Warren

WARREN (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a suspect following the shooting of a teen in Warren on Monday evening.

Police say a 17-year old boy was shot in the neck in a neighborhood north of Nine Mile Rd. between Van Dyke and Hoover Rd. during an altercation. The teen was taken to St. John Hospital in Detroit and was last listed in critical condition.

Police say the suspect is named Larry Walker, a 26-year-old black male.

Police had just been in that area for another shooting over the weekend. It's not clear if the two incidents are related.
