Suspect Sought After Woman Carjacked At Gunpoint In Downtown Detroit [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
DETROIT (WWJ) - He pulled up on a gold bicycle and pointed a gun.
Detroit police are looking for tips from the public to identify a man who carjacked a young woman in downtown Detroit on Wednesday.
It happened just before 11 p.m. in the 700 block of Beaubien, according to police.
The victim told detectives the suspect approached on a gold bike, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at her, demanding her car keys and personal items.
The victim complied and the carjacker fled the scene in her Dodge Stratus. She wasn't injured.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, around 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 150 lbs. with a medium complexion and a goatee. He was wearing a dark color University of Michigan hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect has two moles on his right cheek area.
Photos and video were released to the media on Thursday.
