Suspect Caught On Camera Breaking Into Eastern Market Business [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are hoping the public will  be able to identify a man who was caught on camera breaking into a business at Eastern Market.

The break-in happened around 4:35 a.m. on Sunday, October 16 in the 2900 block of Russell.

According to police, the male suspect entered the location through the front door using what appeared to be a security access code. Once inside, the suspect forced open a safe that was in an office area of the business, according to police. The suspect then allegedly removed miscellaneous items including an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe.

Police say the suspect was last seen exiting the location and traveling southwest on foot.
