Suspect Arraigned In Connection With Wayne Apartment Break-In

WAYNE (WWJ) - A suspect has been arraigned in connection with a home invasion in Wayne.

Police say that Gregory Weaver, 26, of Westland, broke a window to gain entry into the front door of an apartment building then forced his way into an apartment -- where he allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old Taylor resident.

Weaver was arraigned on a charge of home invasion. His bond was set at $100,000/ 10 percent.

He'll be back in court on Aug. 1 for a probable cause conference.
