Southfield (CW50) - On this week's STREET BEAT, Amyre Makupson talks to women breaking barriers in career fields that were once primarily dominated by men. They each share their personal journeys through their careers and tell us how they are now helping to pave the way for other women in the skills trades.

First, she talks with NAWIC's North Central Region Director, Rita Brown, to learn about the overall state of women in construction.
