Watch Street Beat: Bullying And Keeping Your Kids Safe Online

This week on Street Beat, host Jill Washburn looks at Teen Issues and Bullying.  First, the CW50 Student Ambassadors, Dipita Das, Desmond Graham, Bernadette Kathryn, discuss their views of bullying in their schools and what to do if someone is bullied, or witnesses bullying.

Then, Amanda Mezuk – Safe and Supportive Schools Regional Coach, talks to us about the Restorative Justice Program, how it teaches students and schools to resolve conflicts, and enables students to enjoy a better learning environment.

Next, Sharon Windfrey, a licensed professional counselor at Evolutionary Intervention, talks about self-esteem and other issues that tend to affect girls during their teen years.

And, finally, Edward Cardenas, Technology Reporter for WWJ NewsRadio 950, joins us to discuss the pitfalls of youngsters using the Internet, when it's appropriate to let kids dabble in social media, and safeguards for the family when online.
