Street Beat: Mother's Day -- Family Concerns

On Saturday, May 2, host Karen Carter honors and celebrates mothers today. First, she meets Jessica Byrd, the founder of The Mom's Club, who helps young mothers be the best moms they can be.

Then, Karen learns about Flip the Script, a women's empowerment program from Detroit Goodwill, from service coordinator Jasmine Williams and trainee Andrea Savage.

Next, Mia Cupp, the Director of Development and Communications for the Wayne County Community Action Agency, and Teresa Harrington, the Head Start Director, explain the agency's Community Baby Show.
