First, we talk with Renee Wendt, Dove Academy of Detroit's Michigan Department of Education Teacher of the Year Nominee teacher who tells us how she is getting kids excited about learning both in and outside of the classroom.

Then, we learn from Debra Bonde, Director of Seedlings, on how they are enhancing books with braille to help improve the literacy rates for visually impaired children.
