Start Of Royals-Tigers Game Delayed By Light Failure
DETROIT (AP) —The start of Friday's game between the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals was delayed 23 minutes because of a light-tower failure.
When the game was scheduled to start at 7:08 p.m., a bank of lights above appeared to be stuck in stand-by mode, with only the top and bottom of rows lit.
