St. Jude To Honor Former Detroit Lion At Charity Event

ROCHSETER (WWJ) -- The inaugural St. Jude Evening of Hope -- a Legends for Charity Event -- will look  to celebrate and honor Pro Football Hall of Fame member, former Detroit Lion and seven-time Pro-Bowl participant, Charlie Sanders.

The event will take place on Monday June 23 at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester.

Event guests will be able to enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner and exciting live auction, as well as a celebratory program emceed by Dan Miller, FOX 2 Detroit sports director and anchor.

This event is a part of the national Legends for Charity event, which annually presents The Pat Summerall Award during Super Bowl Weekend. Created by Cheryl DeLeonardis, owner of Ocean 2 Ocean Productions, this special event has a longtime relationship with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — raising $2 million over seven years.

Individual tickets are $125 and sponsorships are available, starting at $1,000.
