'Spirit Of Detroit' Outfitted In Lions Jersey For Playoff Run [PHOTOS]
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Passersby roaming downtown Detroit have grown used to seeing the city's iconic statue -- the Spirit of Detroit -- outfitted with many different looks over the years. More often than not, a Red Wings hockey jersey for yet another playoff run.
Well, the Wings will have to wait their turn this time. The Spirit was officially dressed in a blue Lions jersey in preparation of the team's playoff game against the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday.
The blue home jersey sports the number one and the words "One Pride." The Spirit has never donned a Lions jersey before this year.

The Lions take on the NFC East Division Champion Cowboys Sunday at 4:40 p.m. in a Wild Card matchup.
