Spirit Of Detroit Gets Fitted With University Of Michigan Jersey [PHOTO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - The Spirit of Detroit is now sporting some maize and blue.

Officials on Thursday hung a University of Michigan jersey around the stature in honor of the university's 200th anniversary since its establishment in the city of Detroit.

The jersey will remain on the 26-foot sculpture until Aug. 31.
