Southfield Police Seek Help To ID Female Bank Robber
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - A cash reward is being offered for tips leading to the arrest of a woman caught on camera robbing a Comerica Bank branch.
According to Southfield police, the bank on Telegraph near West 12 Mile Road was robbed at around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the female suspect handed a note to the teller that read,"I have a gun. Large bills."
She made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, feeling on foot.
The suspect is described as a 30 to 40 year female; 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 180 lbs., with a light complexion, heavy build, and crooked teeth. She was wearing a black wig with gold streaks, sunglasses, a red shirt, and blue jeans with a gold design embossed on the rear pockets.
She was carrying a black and gold purse.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
