Southfield Police Search For Suspects In Overnight Robbery, Assault

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Southfield police are searching for two suspects after a woman was robbed and pistol-whipped inside her garage.

Police say it happened just after 2:30 Monday morning at a home on Grayson, near Nine Mile and Greenfield.

As the victim arrived home, two gunmen entered her garage, took her purse, and hit her several times over the head.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are interviewing witnesses who heard the commotion.
