South Lyon Middle School Evacuated Over Gas Leak
SOUTH LYON (WWJ) - An Oakland County middle school has been evacuated due to a gas leak.
The situation unfolded Thursday morning at Millennium Middle School on 9 Mile Road and Pontiac Trail in South Lyon.
Officials say the building was evacuated after students and staff noticed the odor of gas.
Consumers Energy has been notified of the situation.
Fire officials are on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
