Snowfall Totals Revised: 12 - 16 Inches Of Snow Expected

DETROIT (WWJ) - A Winter Storm Warning will remain in effect until 10:00 p.m. Sunday night, with a revised snowfall figure of 12 to 16 inches of snow now expected to fall across southeast Michigan.

Accuweather Meteorologist Dean Devore is tracking the storm for WWJ Newsradio 950.

"We've been looking at what we've got already and it was out performing what we thought we'd have at this point and looking at what's coming down the pike ... in many places we already have the six inches - so I think 12-16 (inches) the next step," said Devore.

Dean says the Accuweather real-feel temperatures will be more like 20-to-30 below later Sunday night and 30-to-40 below Monday night.

Devore adds it's going to be a long-term storm - so bundle up!
