Snow Emergencies In Several Metro Detroit Communities

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - More dangerously cold weather is headed our way and we have a wind chill warning that will go into effect this afternoon — part of a deep freeze that stretches to the deep south.

Several metro Detroit communities have declared snow emergencies, meaning people have to get their cars off the streets, or else they face the possibility of getting a ticket and/or having their cars towed.

Snow emergencies are currently in effect in the following communities:

Clawson
Dearborn
Dearborn Heights
Eastpointe
Flat Rock
Madison Heights

If you have questions about whether your city is under a snow emergency, you can go online to the City Hall office in your town or call your local police department's non-emergency number.
