Smoke Seen For Miles As Firefighters Battle Brush Fire In Troy
TROY (WWJ) - Dark smoke plumed into the air as Troy firefighters battled a huge brush fire, Wednesday afternoon.
At least five fire trucks were at the scene at the Buckingham Woods subdivision, west of Coolidge in Tory.

Callers to the WWJ Newsradio 950 newsroom reported they saw the smoke from miles away; others from a nearby Whole Foods and a Rite Aid store. Listener Laura spotted the smoke from I-75 and at Big Beaver Road.
There have been no reports of any injuries and it does not appear any homes or buildings were affected
The cause of the fire is unknown.
