Skull, Bones Found By Hunters In St. Clair County

BURTCHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Hunters have discovered a human skull and several bones in St. Clair County.

Sheriff's deputy Steve Campau says hunters were tracking a deer when they made the discovery Monday on state land in Burtchville Township, about 15 miles north of Port Huron. The remains will be examined by an anthropologist at Michigan State University.

No identity or cause of death is known. Investigators are checking missing person databases.
