Sister Pie: Hatch Detroit Semi-Finalist (VIDEO)

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - The owners of Sister Pie have plans to bring a bakery featuring seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients to the West Village area of Detroit.
Sister Pie is one of 10 semi-finalists announced in the competition to win a $50,000 grant from Comerica Bank and legal, marketing, accounting and IT support from Hatch Detroit.
The bakery currently bakes out of a commercial location on Woodward, and plans on opening a full-service bakery and retail location on Kercheval in the West Village area. Company officials say it will specialize in seasonal pies, cookies, bakery items along with green salads and granolas.

Voters have until 11:59 p.m. Thursday to cast a vote for their favorite business.
