Shooter At Large After 19-Year-Old Man Killed In Inkster

DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan State Police investigators are looking for a gunman responsible for a deadly, broad-daylight shooting in Inkster.

Police say 19-year old Kylen Guinn of Detroit was shot while talking with "an unknown man" at around 1:10 p.m. Sunday near Avondale and Carlyle.

Witnesses are telling different stories about what happened, police say, so detectives are working to get more information. What police believe is that believe that, during the discussion, the suspect pulled a gun, shot Guinn and fled the area.

Guinn's friend, who wasn't hurt, fled and Guinn was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said there's no information available about possible suspects.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call State Police at 855 MICH-TIP.
