Shocking Hit And Run Kills Man In Motorized Wheelchair [VIDEO]

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect for a fatal hit and run accident that occurred in the city of Detroit.

It happened at about 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at Livernois and Lyndon when a 60 year-old man was crossing the street in his motorized wheelchair.

A dark blue Dodge Durango, bearing Michigan license plate #CMN 3238 struck him and fled the scene. The vehicle was driven by an unknown black male suspect.

The victim in the wheelchair was killed.
