'She's Trusting Of People, That's What We Are Afraid Of,' Says Brother Of Missing Woman

DETROIT (WWJ) - The family of a missing woman is concerned for her welfare as the days grow colder and her need for medication increase by the day.

Joyce Bellamy, 58, was last seen on Saturday, Dec. 10, at her home on Braile street in Detroit.

"She's trusting of people, that's what we are afraid of ... we think she can think clear enough to get out of the cold," said her brother David Bellamy. "But she doesn't have a phone and hasn't taken her medication."

Joyce is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray coat, pink jogging suit and black boots.

According to police she suffers from bi-polar disorder and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
