Several Firearms Stolen During Washtenaw County Home Invasion

SUPERIOR TWP. (WWJ) - Authorities say someone broke into a home in Washtenaw County and made off with several firearms.

Deputies say they received a report of a home invasion around 2 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 1000 block of Ashley Drive, in a neighborhood off of Geddes and Harris roads in Superior Township, just northeast of Ypsilanti.

The homeowner told police that sometime between 2:10 p.m. Thursday and 1:45 a.m. Friday, someone entered the home and stole multiple guns.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry to the home, and it doesn't appear that anything else is missing. Investigators are still trying to determine how many and what kinds of firearms were stolen.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact police at 734-971-8400.
