Semi Rolls Over, Bringing Traffic To Halt On I-75

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Auburn Hills police are investigating after a semi truck rolled over, causing a jam on I-75 Monday.

It happened just before 1 p.m. along the southbound side of the freeway, between M-59 and South Boulevard.

Police said the driver lost control, and the truck — which was towing two empty trailers — overturned. The truck then slid into the median wall, causing pieces of concrete to fall into the northbound lanes of I-75.

Two vehicles driving north were damaged by the concrete pieces.

No one was injured.

Southbound I-75 was closed in that area following the accident but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
