Semi Loses Load Of Aluminum Sheets On I-75

DETROIT (WWJ) - Commuters are having to squeeze through a popular stretch of I-75 in just one lane because a semi-truck lost its load on the freeway.

The incident unfolded Friday during the peak morning commute on northbound I-75 near Clay Street in downtown Detroit.

According to police, the semi-truck's trailer detached and broke open, spilling hundreds of thin Aluminum sheets onto the roadway.

Crews are on the scene trying to clean up the spilled contents before the semi-truck can be removed from the road.
