Semi Driver Killed In Crash With Another Truck On I-94

PORT HURON (WWJ/AP) - A semi-truck driver has been killed in a crash with another truck on I-94 in Port Huron.

The Times Herald of Port Huron reports that the deceased driver rear-ended the other truck about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. It was not immediately clear if the driver of the second truck was injured.

St. Clair County sheriff's officials say the truck that was rear-ended may have been stopped on the freeway.

After 4:30 p.m., eastbound I-94 remained shut down east of I-69 and traffic while police conducted an accident investigation.  Traffic was being diverted from the freeway.

WWJ's Randy Bhirdo reported it was a multi-vehicle crash, but it was not immediately clear how many other vehicles may have been involved.

The victim's name was not released.
