Hundreds of schools in Southeast Michigan closed for Thursday due to heavy snow

More than 400 Southeast Michigan schools are closed for Thursday, Jan. 15, in the aftermath of a wintry mix of weather that began Wednesday afternoon and lingered into Thursday morning.

Closings have been reported from Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne counties; to include Detroit Public Schools.
