School Police Officers: Ypsilanti's School Board Vote To End Law Enforcement Contracts

(CBS DETROIT) - School resource officers will no longer be in Ypsilanti's Public Schools.

Last week the school board voted to end its contract with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office and the city police department. This comes after school districts are reconsidering how budget funds will be allocated amid the coronavirus pandemic.
