School Bus Carrying Elementary School Childern Involved In Crash In Novi

NOVI (WWJ) -- Police and fire crews were on the scene of a crash involving a school bus in Novi.

The crash happened between M-5 and Haggerty Rd. on 13 Mile late Friday afternoon. The bus and an SUV collided near Cabot Street.

A city spokesperson told WWJ Newsradio 950 that one bus was involved in the crash, though there were other buses seen at the scene.

A spokesperson with the Novi Fire Department said the bus was from Meadowbrook Elementary and that there were no serious injuries.

Lance Howard got a look at the scene from Chopper 950.

"Most of the injuries that we have seen do not appear to be serious," Howard said.
