Sanchez Shaky For Tigers In Win Over Blue Jays

LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) — Anibal Sanchez was shaky in his second start of the spring, giving up a home run to Jose Bautista as the Detroit Tigers beat a Toronto Blue Jays split squad 6-4 on Monday.

Sanchez gave up two runs on four hits and a walk in 2 1-3 innings. He was went 8-5 with a 3.43 ERA in 22 starts for the Tigers last season.

Blue Jays starter Daniel Norris allowed three earned runs in two innings. He is contending for one of the final spots in the Blue Jays' rotation.

Anthony Gose doubled and stole a base, keeping up his strong spring start for the Tigers. Yoenis Cespedes also doubled for Detroit.

Ramon Santiago doubled and singled for the Blue Jays.
